Field Service Technician
EMSL Analytical, Inc.
, one of the largest environmental testing firms in the United States, is currently seeking a Full Time Field Service Technician for its headquarters located in Cinnaminson, NJ.
This position requires someone who is dependable and reliable.
The ideal candidate would be someone that is flexible, can manage time well, and is handy with small laboratory equipment.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Responsible for moving and repairing equipment.
General abilities to include trouble shoot and repair of small laboratory equipment such as microscopes, fume hoods, centrifuges, autoclaves, other laboratory equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance for laboratory equipment as directed.
Pack and ship sensitive/delicate equipment.
Various projects as assigned by hiring manager.
Travel to various locations from time to time picking up equipment and or repairing some equipment on-site.
Hands on training will be provided for specific equipment.
No prior experience with laboratory equipment required.
Requirements:
High School degree or equivalent.
Must have minimum of 1-2 years' experience related to general electronic repairs and maintenance.
Should be good with general work, electronic knowledge, and be good with hands.
Should have a good, personable attitude.
MUST have valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Must be able to travel on occasion up to a 100 mile radius by company vehicle.
Must be able to travel by plane on occasion.
Must be able to multi-task.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 35 pounds.
